Several parents are asking if the virtual school supply list is the same as the on-site school supply list. They are the same list. Students will likely need many of the on-site list supplies to complete assignments at home. However, virtual learning is new to all of us and I hate for you to purchase things you may not need. We are learning as we go. I would start with some basic school supplies for home and you can purchase additional supplies as they are needed or whenever your child returns to school for on-site instruction.

Class lists for 2nd-5th grades have been posted on the door to the lower elementary. Virtual students have been assigned a teacher as well. Please maintain proper social distancing when checking lists.

Clarksville parents, I have made a video to help explain the plans our district will use for the return to onsite learning on August 24th. For more information please contact the school where your child attends. https://youtu.be/Pfl5LmQ4Aa4

Clarksville Elementary will host a drop in Open House for 2nd grade students and new students to the district on August 20th from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. In order to reduce the number of people in the building, please limit those attending to the student and one parent. Classroom teachers will provide a "virtual" open house video for those students who cannot attend or who are not new to our building.

School Supply List for 2020-2021

At the regular July board meeting, our school board adopted a face covering policy for all staff and students. Please keep in mind there have been many changes since the beginning of the pandemic. This policy could change again before the start of school.

Update: If you do not have a printer, you can pick up a contract from the file cabinet in front of the Lower Elementary School. Contracts can be returned to the office or emailed to april.clark@csdar.org.
The following links will take you to the Clarksville Schools’ “Return to Onsite Learning Plan” and the alternate “Remote Learning Contract” for those that do not feel safe returning to school on August 24th. If you choose to keep your children at home and utilize our remote learning option, you will need to have the contract returned to your child’s school by July 31st.
Please understand that these plans could change due to the nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
