Clarksville School District is proud to be named a 2023-2024 National Beta District of Distinction.
If your child has medication in the nurse’s office, it will need to be picked up and signed out by you before or by the last day of school, May 22 at 1:00 PM. Medication cannot be sent home with the student and must be signed out by a parent or guardian. All medications remaining in the nurse’s station will be disposed of on the last day of school through the “Take Back Program” in conjunction with the local police. This includes, but is not limited to, all oral medications, inhalers, Epi pens, etc. If you have any questions, call the school nurse at 479-705-3250.
Due to the weather and conditions of the playground, we will shifting away from our field day plan for fourth grade. We will be moving field day stations indoors for tomorrow. Students will rotate through activities indoors from 9:00-11:15. They will eat a sack lunch in their classroom or on the blacktop outside weather permitting.
The Clarksville Intermediate School awards ceremony will be on Friday, May 17th at the CJH Fine Arts building. 4th Grade will begin at 8:30. Fifth grade will begin at 10:00. Parents are welcome to attend.
Due to the chance of severe weather tomorrow evening, there will be no after school program tomorrow.

ESL Parent Night is coming up. We invite our ESL families to attend on Friday, May 3 at 6:30 pm at the CJH Fine Arts Building.
Final Band Sign Up for Current 5th Graders
If your child would like to be in band in 6th grade and was unable to attend one of the two band nights, Dr. Hodges is going to come to the school and let them sign up/test different instruments. This will be the final sign up. Parents must call the office or fill out the google form by Friday, April 12 to get their child on the sign up list.

All Clarksville School facilities will be closed to everyone over the eclipse weekend and on eclipse day, Monday, April 8th. All the districts’ parking lots will also be closed and not available to the public or employees. We are doing this out of an abundance of caution and to avoid possible issues in resuming school on Tuesday. The district will announce via the text messaging system if school will be closed Tuesday. Otherwise, classes will only be closed on Monday, April 8th, and normal operations will resume on Tuesday, April 9th.
Clarksville Intermediate spring pictures are tomorrow. All students will be photographed. You can pre-order online or send money with your child tomorrow.

Due to the cancellation of conferences/book fair family night before Spring Break, the CIS book fair has been extended. We will be open this Monday and Tuesday during school hours.
There will be one more 5th band sign up night. If you missed the first one, plan to attend on Tuesday, March 26th. Students will get to try out the various instruments. It will be in the junior high band room from 5:00-7:00 PM.
