Parents,
Kindergarten registration for the 23-24 school year is April 10-14. If your child does not go to a local daycare here in Clarksville you will need to come to our school between the hours of 8:00-3:00 during the week of April 10-14 to pick up a registration packet. Once the packet is filled out you will bring it back to us. We will need to make copies of the students: shot record, birth certificate, social security card, and proof of residency (electric or other bill with your address). If your child does go to a daycare in Clarksville we will coordinate registration through them.

Parents,
If you have a student in Mrs. Isely, M. Gavis, G.Davis, Syfert, or Petersen the field trip for tomorrow has been postponed until this Thursday October 27th on account of weather.
The USDA program that provided free meals for all students during COVID has ended. This means that families must apply and meet the qualifications for free/reduced meals or they will have to pay the full price for each meal. The district also receives important funding based on the number of students who qualify for free/reduced meals. These funds help provide vital services for our students such as after school tutoring, reading programs, etc. Please visit www.mymealtime.com to apply. Applications must be submitted before September 30 for the district to receive this funding.

We are monitoring the weather and road conditions. At this time, temperatures are forecasted to hover just above freezing. Parents who are concerned about inclement weather may check out their students today, March 11, and have the absence excused. Families may also call the office to have their high school student released to drive home from campus. On-site instruction will continue and campuses will remain open throughout the school day. Buses will run their normal after school routes.
Parents,
March 17th is the last day to qualify as "fully vaccenated" for the vaccine incentive here at CPS. This means the student has to be two weeks past the 2nd shot. With that being said tomorrow March 3 would be the last day for a student to get their 2nd shot to be considered "fully vaccinated". It is too late to send in proof of vacccination to qualify for the incentive on March 8 or 10 but we will do another round sometime in April for those who are fully vaccinated by March 17 that didn't get in on this round of incentive. If you have questions give me a call at 479-979-6002.
Thanks,
Mr. Mooney
